We license the Coherence Lens and train practitioners to run the Qualitative Coherence Indicator™, under a published code of practice and a quality floor – so authorised use is always distinguishable from co-option. You ship the systems. We keep the standard honest.

Why a standard, not an app

We license the substrate. You ship the applications.

Divergent Kind does not operate a platform you sign up for. It builds the compass, names the layer, and owns the instrument. The builders build the systems. We measure whether what they build holds – and we license the instrument that does the measuring.

The long-term path is licensed reads run by trained practitioners – not public software. The programme opens once the instrument’s reliability evidence is complete; the code of practice publishes first.

The control the category never had. Published here so that authorised use is always distinguishable from co-option. Every licensee and practitioner operates under it.

    Service over extraction

    The instrument is used to facilitate agency and coherence – never to extract from, distort, or manipulate the people inside the system.

    Outputs, never the engine

    Readings show outputs – states, routes, recommendations. The computation, scale and thresholds are never exposed or reverse-engineered.

    The quality floor

    Only licensed practitioners issue a reading. No reading is valid outside the quality floor and the method's discipline.

    The boundary holds

    No clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic use. We facilitate conditions for coherence; we do not diagnose, treat, or cure.

    Honest attribution

    Authorised use is named as such. The compound terms and the five-layer structure are defended; the generic adjectives are conceded.

    Right to disown

    Divergent Kind reserves the right to withdraw licence and authorisation from any use that breaches the code or distorts the discipline.

Complementary to ISO 42001.

ISO 42001 certifies the AI-management system. The Method sits one layer up: the human and operating-model coherence layer on top of it. As certification becomes a procurement requirement, the method is the layer that says whether the certified system actually holds for the people it serves.
